The Month of Photography

Since 1980, a hundred of photography exhibitions invade the capital during the month of November. Every two years, the Month of Photography is organized by Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris. Many galeries and art places participate to this event.

Every edition has a specific thematic and many exhibitions, projections, meetings and debates are organized around these topics. It is the opportunity to enjoy exhibitions of master of photography but also new artists.

For this 18th edition, the topics are Mediterranean, privacy and amateurs.

During all the month of November visit the exhibition of Garry Winogrand in Jeu de Paume, William Eggleston in Henri Cartier Bresson Foundation, Sonia Delauney in Modern Art Museum and so many others… The Month of Photography Off is also a nice opportunity to discover new artists.
